NOTE FROM DR. HOFFMAN
I hope this correspondence finds you happy and in good health. I am writing to share with you my plans for the coming years. You need to know what a pleasure it has been for me to take care of you and in many cases, your friends and family.
As you may recall, my career began as Chief of Plastic Surgery at New York Hospital, as it was known then. I was blessed to witness the growth of the Division and oversee the merger of Plastic Surgery at Weill Cornell and Columbia. After 17 years, I felt it was time to leave the academic world and enter the world of private practice. It has been a true joy to care for my patients over the past 13 years.
At this point in my career, much to my delight, I have been approached to rejoin the full-time faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian. My new title is Clinical Professor of Surgery, Director of Aesthetic Services. I will continue to provide personalized patient care as well as spend time teaching and mentoring. I look forward to this new chapter in my life, and I could not be happier. Please feel free to call me anytime or set up an appointment to come in.
As of December 1, 2017 I will be seeing patients at the Columbia faculty practice located:
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
